This little box contains 24 cards of the portraits made by Alain Delorme for the series "Little Dolls". This series shows off little girls in a advertising type of scene. It underlines the excessive use of children as objects or means of making money. Alain Delorme uses the particular esthetic effect created by the superposition of little girls' faces and dolls' faces to offer us a critical image full of irony. With these disturbing portraits Alain Delorme also questions the often systematic desire of these little girls, or their parents, to ressemble the 20th century beauty stereotype, Barbie.
