The self-taught artist John Perello, aka JonOne, is a main figure in Parisian street art. He works outside conventions and not following the “rules” of graffiti. Influenced by American abstract expressionist Pollock and the French artist Dubuffet, Jonone moved naturally from the urban movement to canvas. He creates powerful pieces keeping the culture of the street art movement which he defends so strongly. Born in New York City to parents from the Dominican Republic and now living in Paris he is exposing all around the world.
