Women are heroes is a series of photographs from street installation that have been taken already from Sierra Leone and Cambodia to Brazil, Morocco and India. In 2009, took his project to Paris pasting his gigantic portraits on the main bridges and by the river Seine. The images of the women came from JR’s Women are Heroes project, where he highlighted the challenges and violence faced by women in troubled countries across the world.
